A peaceful sandy lagoon on the Island of Mljet
The Island of Mljet in Croatia is well known for its National Park, a beautiful display of nature that rejuvenates the body and mid with peaceful pine forests, scenic coastline and magnificent sea lakes.
To take it even a step further, set sail to the very south-eastern point of the Mljet Island where the Blaca lagoon (Uvala Blaca) awaits with its golden sandy shore and warm shallow sea. The sea around Mljet Island is usually a bit warmer than elsewhere in the Adriatic and the Blaca lagoon gets even warmer.Dip in!
The nearest place good for overnight anchoring is Saplunara Bay, also with beautiful sandy beach and restaurants.
If you are an early bird, walk or sail over to the Blaca lagoon and enjoy a very private retreat.
There is nothing matching it by far and this place always gets my vote for the very top of 10 most beautiful Croatian beaches.
